What Is E-Liquid?

E-liquid, also known as vape juice or vape liquid, is the flavoured liquid used inside every type of vape kit. When you activate your kit, the e-liquid is heated up, creating the visible vapour that is inhaled and exhaled. It is arguably the most important part of your vaping experience as it delivers the nicotine to satisfy your cravings.

What’s in Vape Juice?

Vape juice is made up of four primary ingredients: Vegetable Glycerin (VG), Propylene Glycol (PG), nicotine, and flavourings. Unlike traditional cigarettes, vape juice contains no tobacco and involves no combustion, meaning you avoid the harmful tar and carcinogens typically associated with smoking.

What Are VG & PG?

VG (Vegetable Glycerin) and PG (Propylene Glycol) are two essential ingredients in e-liquid, each playing a key role in your vaping experience. Together, they help produce vapor, carry flavour, and deliver nicotine — along with the familiar sensation known as the "throat hit" that mimics the feeling of smoking.

PG (Propylene Glycol): A thin, water-like liquid that produces less vapor but excels at carrying flavour. It also delivers a sharper throat hit, similar to that of a traditional cigarette.

VG (Vegetable Glycerin): A thicker, syrup-like liquid that creates denser clouds of vapor and delivers a smoother inhale with a milder throat hit.

Most e-liquids combine both PG and VG in varying ratios, known as the VG/PG ratio, to balance vapor production, flavour intensity, and throat hit to suit different preferences.

What Is Freebase Nicotine E-Liquid?

Freebase nicotine e-liquid is designed to closely replicate the sensation of smoking a traditional cigarette by delivering a stronger throat hit, especially at higher nicotine strengths. This type of nicotine is commonly available in strengths ranging from 3mg (mild) to 18mg (strong).

Freebase nicotine is slower to absorb compared to nicotine salts, but it offers longer-lasting satisfaction, making it ideal for vapers looking to manage cravings effectively.

Perfect for those who enjoy a sharper inhale and a more traditional vaping experience.

What Is Salt Nicotine E-Liquid?

Salt nicotine e-liquids are ideal for vapers who prefer higher nicotine strengths but want a smoother, less harsh throat hit. Typically available in strengths ranging from 5mg to 20mg, nic salts deliver a gentle inhale — even at higher concentrations.

One of the key benefits of nicotine salts is their faster absorption, which means they satisfy cravings more quickly than freebase nicotine. However, the effects tend to wear off sooner, making them perfect for more frequent vaping throughout the day.

Great for those seeking a smooth, high strength vape without the intensity of a strong throat hit.

What Are VG/PG Ratios?

The VG/PG ratio refers to the proportion of Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and Propylene Glycol (PG) in your e-liquid. These two ingredients always add up to 100%. For example:

  • 50/50 e-liquid = 50% VG / 50% PG

  • 70/30 e-liquid = 70% VG / 30% PG

  • 60/40 e-liquid = 60% VG / 40% PG

The ratio you choose affects your vaping experience, including vapor production, throat hit, and device compatibility. A higher VG content produces more vapor and a smoother hit, while higher PG offers a stronger throat hit and carries flavor more effectively.

The ideal VG/PG ratio also depends on the type of vape kit you’re using. To make things easy, we always recommend the best ratio for your device on each product page.

What Is Freebase Nicotine E-Liquid?

Freebase nicotine e-liquid is designed to closely mimic the sensation of smoking a traditional cigarette by delivering a strong throat hit. The higher the nicotine strength, the more intense the hit — making it ideal for those who enjoy a sharp inhale.

Available in a range of strengths from 3mg (light) to 18mg (strong), freebase nicotine is slower to absorb than nicotine salts but provides longer-lasting craving satisfaction.

Key Benefits:

  • Strong Throat Hit

  • Longer-Lasting Nicotine Effect

  • Ideal for Moderate to Heavy Smokers

Perfect for vapers who prefer a more traditional smoking feel with extended relief from cravings.
