Replacement Pods and Coils

Keep your vape performing at its best with our wide range of authentic replacement pods and coils. Whether you're after rich flavour, dense clouds, or a smooth MTL (mouth-to-lung) draw, the right coil or pod makes all the difference. Explore options compatible with leading brands and devices – all designed to ensure optimal performance, longevity, and a consistently satisfying vape experience.

What Is a Vape Coil?

A vape kit relies on three essential components: the tank, the battery, and the coil (also called the atomiser).

The coil sits inside the vape tank and typically consists of a coiled wire wrapped around a wicking material such as cotton. The wick absorbs the e-liquid from the tank, and when the battery powers the coil, it heats up, vaporizing the liquid into the vapor you inhale.

What Is Coil Resistance and What Are Ohms?

Ohms measure the electrical resistance of the coil’s metal. In vaping, coil resistance affects how much vapour is produced.

Coils with high resistance (above 1.0 Ohm) generate less vapour and need less power. Coils with resistance below 1.0 Ohm are called sub-ohm coils—they require more power but deliver larger vapour clouds.

What Resistance Vape Coil Should I Choose?

Choosing the right coil resistance depends on the vaping experience you want. Coils generally fall into two categories based on resistance:

Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) Coils
MTL coils have higher resistance (above 1.0 Ohm) and produce less vapour, ideal for a mouth-to-lung vaping style. They work best with high PG or 50/50 e-liquids.

Sub-Ohm Coils
Sub-ohm coils have lower resistance (below 1.0 Ohm) and generate larger vapour clouds, suited for direct-to-lung vaping. These coils perform best with high VG e-liquids, such as 70% VG.

How Do I Know When to Change My Coil?

Coils typically need replacing about once a week. You'll notice it's time to change when the flavour of your e-liquid fades or vapour production decreases. For longer-lasting performance, consider mesh or ceramic coils.

What Coil Do I Need?

Coils are usually designed to fit specific vape kits from each manufacturer. For example, Aspire coils are made for Aspire devices. Within each brand, you’ll find various resistances and coil types to suit your vaping style, such as MTL or sub-ohm options. Some manufacturers, like Vaporesso, offer coils compatible with multiple kits.

What Are the Different Types of Vape Coils?

Vape coils vary not only in resistance but also in their design, materials, and compatibility with specific tanks.

Ceramic Coils
Ceramic coils use a metal heating element like standard coils but feature a porous ceramic wick—or a ceramic-cotton blend—instead of just cotton. Benefits include reduced spitback, enhanced flavour, faster heating at lower wattages, and longer coil life. Brands like Smok and Vaporesso offer popular ceramic coil options.

Mesh Coils
Mesh coils replace traditional wire wraps with a curved mesh net, increasing the surface area. This design heats e-liquid more evenly and quickly, boosting flavour and vapour production while preventing hotspots for longer coil lifespan. Mesh coils are available for both sub-ohm vaping and mouth-to-lung styles.

Temperature Control Coils
Used with advanced devices featuring temperature control mode, these coils allow you to set a maximum temperature. The device adjusts wattage to prevent overheating, coil damage, and dry hits. Temperature control coils typically use materials like stainless steel or nickel.

Rebuildable Vape Coils
Designed for rebuildable atomisers such as RDAs and RTAs, rebuildable coils come in various resistances for mouth-to-lung or sub-ohm vaping. Premade coils are available for easy installation, but you’ll need special vape cotton wicks, offered in reels or pre-cut strips, for setup.
